In 2023, Be Cyber Smart emerged as a result of the passion and dedication of our CEO, Brenley Veater. Over the years, Brenley had tirelessly championed Be Cyber Smart as her Social Impact Initiative, but she knew that there was more to be accomplished in the mission of creating a safer internet for everyone. At the young age of 19, while serving as a Security Analyst at Cingo Solutions, a Cyber Security and Compliance company, Brenley had a profound awakening to the lurking dangers that exist online. Since then, she has made it her mission to educate as many people as possible about online safety, empowering them to identify threats and safeguard themselves against manipulative tactics targeting individuals from all demographics.
Through Be Cyber Smart, our dedicated team is fervently working to educate individuals of all ages and levels of experience about the importance of online safety. We firmly believe that by providing reliable, up-to-date resources, along with technical guidance, we can contribute to making the internet a safer space for everyone. For children, we have developed an engaging children’s book series authored by Brenley Veater, which serves as an excellent starting point for teaching them about online safety.
